Reading Cafe
Build a positive connection with books! These sessions are designed to facilitate a greater engagement with books and reading for your pupils
You create the space, and we will bring the resources. Sessions can be booked both with and without parents.
Family reading cafes – We begin with a formal message to parents which will offer hints and tips on how to share books and foster a love of story time at home in a more interactive, sensory or less traditional way. There will then be time for parents and pupils to look at resources we bring and enjoy them together.
Pupil only reading cafes – You create an environment which feels special and restful offering pupils an alternative to the classroom environment they are used to. We will bring a selection of books and resources for pupils to read and enjoy with a CLS librarian and the staff they work with.
Plus 30 books to borrow for the rest of term.
Depending on the colour modules you choose, you can have:
Pink module – 1.5 hours of sessions per year
Purple module – 2 hours of sessions per year
Green module – 6 hours of sessions per year
Orange module – 12 hours of sessions per year
