Spoken Word – student workshop

We can help by encouraging your students to play with words and their performance. The curriculum requires students to learn certain poetic techniques, standards of language and ways of expressing themselves in writing and speech and we would love to help your students to participate in experimenting with this. We will use examples of real performance artists to inspire and encourage your students to write some of their own poems to perform through the use of some spoken word techniques. The session is fun and interactive and gives the students an opportunity to perform to the rest of the class.

• The spoken word workshops are 2 hours – 2 different class sized groups.
