Book Loan

Explore a range of fiction and non-fiction books from the main collection in addition to a further selection of interactive or sensory books, sturdy/rip proof books, symbolised titles, and large range of ‘Hi-Lo’ books. ‘Hi-Lo’ titles (both fiction and non-fiction) combine high interest topics with lower reading ability, many of which are produced with dyslexia friendly paper and font. Our interactive and sensory books offer surprise elements or a more tactile/auditory experience to support students with accessing books for pleasure on different levels.

Books can be kept on long-term loan throughout the year but exchanged with ease whenever necessary, selected by our experienced librarians, on our online catalogue or by visiting us.

Please note that the number of times a CLS librarian can select your stock for an exchange and the number of deliveries you may have is dependent upon which colour module you select. You are very welcome at any time to select or exchange stock by visiting us in person.

Depending on which colour modules you choose, you can borrow:
Pink module – 70 books a year
Purple module – 85 books a year
Green module – 250 books a year
Orange module – 500 books a year
