We offer professional development sessions for school staff to develop knowledge, skills and confidence
Sessions can be tailored to meet schools’ needs and can be delivered in school or at our Learning Hub. Choose from:
Creating a reading culture: how to encourage reading for pleasure – simple techniques and tips for inspiring your pupils
Getting the most out of the school library: how to organise, develop and promote the library within your school
Working with Art: how to invigorate teaching using original art and other creative objects from the Leicestershire Artworks collection including Held in the Hand and Touch Tiles
Working with Artefacts: how to generate curiosity, wonder, empathy and understanding using artefacts
Depending on the colour modules you choose the length of session will be:
Pink module – 30 minutes
Purple module – 1 hour
Green module – 3 hours
