Poetry Workshops – for pupils
Make poetry fun for students with this half-day workshop all about poetry performance
The session starts with an interactive, assembly-style introduction which encourages students and teachers to make poetry active and engaging. Then groups head back to classrooms to work on their own performance poems to share with peers. This workshop is silly, energetic and boosts confidence in students…and teachers!
- 1 poetry workshop is up to 3 hours.
To be booked as a block of time, up to 3 hours; starts with a 30-minute assembly delivered to up to a full year-group of pupils followed by time in classes to hone a poetry performance led by teachers with CLS librarian support.
